This story begins in the center, with the symbol "web of wyrd". The web of wyrd is said to be woven by the Norns and holds all the runes within the 9 simple lines. The Norns are the carver of the runes on Yggdrasil for each and every man and woman born. The runes hold our potential fate, what was (ancestral heritage), what is (all that is in your life today), and what MAY be; we are responsible for how our future unfolds based on the decisions we make on the way. The web of wyrd holds all mystery, potential and the firm foundation from whence we build our future. We embark on this mysterious journey when we embrace our heritage, the gods and especially the runes. The gungnir symbol is both representative of and a reminder that, when you step onto the path dedicated to the gods, you belong to Odin and to the old gods and ancestors. All of a sudden you will know you have an army beside and behind you. But they will not fight for you, nor choose your path. You are responsible for those choices. Gungnir signifies, power, protection and authority and never misses its mark. You can hold this in your right hand throughout your journey. But the journey isn't just on this earth, with all its work and trials, it is also to uncover the mysteries of our very soul and what that soul is meant to accomplish in this life.
