Cúchulainn is an Irish folk legend (hero of Ulster in the Ulster Cycle). Cúchulainn was almost undefeatable in battle due to his spear (Gáe Bulg) and for this he can be compared to the Norse Berserkers or Celtic fanatic Gaesats. Bran and Sceolan were the most famous dogs of the poet warrior, Fionn mac Cumhaill.
